My Skin Type?

Skincare can be all about using lotions, toners, and moisturizers. However, before you pick a product that promises smooth and soft skin, it is important to find out if that product is suitable for your skin type.

There are five different skin types:

  • Oily Skin

  • Dry Skin

  • Combination Skin

  • Sensitive Skin

  • Normal Skin

But every skin type has different needs. By understanding your skin type you can give your skin the care and protection it needs. Even one wrong product can lead to have a bad effect on your skin; which makes it very important to choose a skincare product according to your skin type.

If this has you wondering "Hey! What's MY sling type?", here we are, sharing a few common characteristics of various skin types!

To determine your skin type, try this at home:

This at-home test allows you to understand what kind of skin you have by just observing how your skin behaves after cleansing

  1. To start with, wash your face with a gentle cleanser and gently pat it dry.

  2. If after 30 minutes your skin appears shiny throughout, you likely have oily skin.

  3. If it feels tight and is flaky or scaly, you likely have dry skin;

  4. If the shine is only in your T-Zone, you probably have combination skin;

  5. And if your skin feels hydrated and comfortable, but not oily, you likely have normal skin!

So now you know your skin type, for the next time you are looking for a skincare product! Yay!
