Is Skincare necessary for Men ?

A lot of men have the common misconception that skin care needs to be only for women but it actually doesn't have to be!!! Men too need to take care of their skin. Preventing oil secretion while keeping the balance of the skin is really important for men too! Did you know that compared to women, the skin of men has more collagen and elastin that makes their skin thick and firm? And, hence, the signs of ageing appear much later as compared to women. Men’s skincare is a thing, but a good men’s skincare routine doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. Most of us believe that having great skin means having two routines—a morning routine and an evening routine—and a dozen different skincare products! Well, In this article we will help men in deciding as to how to take up an easy and perfect skincare routine!

Men are exposed to pollution, car exhaust, cigarette smoke (in case of smokers), and other pollutants on a daily basis, which damage the skin. They need to use a good facial cleanser that works on all kinds of skin.Cleansing is essential to sanitize your skin and eliminate dead skin cells. We recommend you use a mild cleanser that cleanses the skin without drying it!

Scrubs or exfoliators are products that are massaged onto the skin to remove the layer of dead skin cells. And men too can exfoliate to remove dead skin! It's simple! Just opt for a cream, oil, or gel

based scrub and exfoliate once or twice a week! 3)Shave: Facial hair is an important part of men’s skincare. If you shave your face, you may experience dryness post-shave. A moisturizing shave cream can help prevent the feeling of tightness and itchiness associated with shaving. A good shave cream can also prevent irritation.

Go for a moisturizer that is safe, has non-toxic ingredients, contains antioxidants, is suitable for your skin type (usually oily, acne-prone skin) & contains SPF. Men don’t have to stick to moisturizers that come in blue and gray packaging. What’s important is the ingredients.

Another thing men tend to ignore is the use of sunscreens. You must apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30. It is not the heat that causes tanning but the sun rays that spoil the color and texture of your skin. To minimize tanning, apply it on your face as well as your hands!

See! Skincare for men is THAT simple!
